I have lived in Swansea all my life and was born in Townhill.

I have been involved in the Labour & Trade Union Movement for 36 years. Over this time I have held many posts in both movements. I am currently a member of Unison.

I first stood to be a Councillor for Newton Ward in the 1980s although my first attempt to be a Councillor was not a success. In fact, it was 2012 before I stood again and was delighted to be elected Labour Councillor for St Thomas Ward.

I am currently Cabinet Member for Transformation & Performance leading on the way the Council delivers its services and ensuring they are performing to a high standard.

I am Chair of Governors at Danygraig School and Governor for St Thomas Community School.

I currently work at the DVLA. I am a keen rugby supporter and am a season ticket holder with the Ospreys.

My mission is to do the very best I can for all the people of St Thomas and ensure they are fully represented at all levels of our community.
