I have been a councillor representing this ward for more than 20 years, and am now the Cabinet Member for Commercial Opportunities & Innovation.
I am very pleased to be involved with the pilot project to build council houses which will be for the first time in decades.
I had the privilege of being sworn in as Swansea’s Lord Mayor for 2016-17, and was very proud to represent the City & County in this role.
I have been a member of the Labour Party for more than 35 years, a member of Unite Union, and I hold regular surgeries in the area at both Mayhill and Gors Community Centres, and is also able to deal with queries at any time by phone or email.
I am currently employed at Real Alloy recycling at Waunarlwydd as a supervisor, I am married with three grown up children and three grandchildren.
