Electoral Ward: Penderry

Cllr.Hazel.Morris@swansea.gov.uk

I have lived in Penderry ward for 47 years. I taught in Penlan, Mynyddbach and Bishop Vaughan schools. My son and three grandchildren all went to school in the area. My extended family live in Blaen-y-Maes.

My interests are the local ward matters. Most of my official work at County Hall is centered around education, social services and looked after children.

I’ve been governor in Blaen-y-Maes and was vice chair at Daniel James and Penlan schools. I like to support small self-help groups in the ward, and support any elderly people in the area in any way I can.

I am a life member of the Penlan Club as were my husband and two sons. I have met most of you in my involvement in the area at the three community centres and Community First.
