Lesley Walton

Electoral Ward: Townhill

07503 702 327

You can write to Lesley at: 34 Carlton Terrace, Swansea, SA1 6AD.

I have been a Labour Party & union member, currently Unite, for more than 30 years.

I was elected in Townhill in 2012, and have been a school governor ever since, currently at Dylan Thomas Community School.

Knowing the issues which face the ward I am keen to promote the local credit union LASA, serving all of Swansea, where members can borrow at a reasonable interest, & save money, and so avoid high cost lenders.

While technically Townhill ward has no named parks I aiming to start up friends of groups where feasible, such as Mayhill pond. I am also very active in trying to combat fly-tipping, and encouraging everyone to recycle as much as possible.

I am originally from Essex but have always loved coming to Wales, and have lived in Swansea for more than 20 years.  I am married to Jeff, live with him and my brother Robin, currently have two cats, and run my own design & print business.
