Louise Gibbart

Electoral Ward: Dunvant

01792 636 923

I was thrilled to have been elected alongside Jen Raynor as Labour Party councillors  for Dunvant in the 2017 local council elections. I am passionate about public service and truly love our community here in Dunvant and our city of Swansea.

I was born in Swansea and am a former pupil of Cilâ, Olchfa and Swansea College. I live with my husband and busy two year old. I am a qualified teacher and I was also a trade union representative for several years; this has helped me gain experience as an advocate for others and organisational, communication and administrative skills, which are all vital to the role of a councillor. Many of you may know me through my positions as Secretary of Friends of Dunvant Park and as a governor Dunvant Primary School, or chasing my daughter around playgroups and rhyme time!
