I was elected in 2012 to represent Bonymaen Ward.

I worked in Morganite Electrical Carbon Ltd, and am currently employed by Great Western Railways. I have been an active trade unionist since 1979, elected as National Women’s chair, National President for Catering Grade, and a tutor for Trade Union Studies for RMT.

As a Councillor, I have held posts as Junior Whip, currently Deputy Cabinet Member for Transport and Chair Advisory for Cabinet for Prevention and Social Care.

In the ward I am a Trustee for the foodbank, a school Governor for Pentrechwyth Primary School and Cefn Hengoed Community School.

I have lived in Bonymaen all my life and enjoy the privilege of representing the community.
