I have been an active member of the Labour Party for 15 years and a past chair of the ward and delegate to the CLP. I strongly believe in equalities in all areas of our communities and we must go that extra mile to protect the most vulnerable people in our society.
I was elected recently in a by-election by the people of Mynddyddbach with an overwhelming majority to be their councillor. I am a retired, successful local businessman and have been a resident of Treboeth for more than 30 years. I live with my wife Andrea. Our children attended both the local schools of Gwyrosydd and Bishop Vaughan.
I am a member of the cabinet advisory committee for Education and Young People and also the cabinet advisory committee for Communities. This aside my main focus as a councillor is on solving problems in the ward and finding the best solutions to local issues.
