Mike White

Councillor

Electoral Ward: Landore

Cllr.Mike.White@swansea.gov.uk

01792 636 923

Before I retired in 2008, I worked for the local authority, in the Environmental Section, and was the Trade Union Representative for T.G.W.U. now known as UNITE, and used to deal with many issues on behalf of my members with the Employer.

I have lived in the Landore Ward for over 40 years with my family and have always played an active part in the Community, I am chair of Brynhyfryd Primary School Governing Body, and a Governor at Pentrehafod Comprehensive School, and I am very involved with the local Friends of Parks Groups across the Ward.

I was selected by the members of the Landore Ward in 2012 to stand for Council, as one of their candidates as I believe that they knew that I would speak up and represent the constituents of the Landore Ward on the City & County of Swansea.

As a councillor, I give my commitment to do my very best for the constituents of the Landore Ward, to deal with their issues, problems and concerns.
