Nick Davies

Councillor

Electoral Ward: Uplands

Cllr.Nick.Davies@swansea.gov.uk

01792 636 923

I was first elected to represent Uplands in 2012. I am proud to represent such a diverse and vibrant part of Swansea. I have tried to improve the quality of life for everyone who lives, works and socialises in Uplands.

I am the chair of governors at Brynmill Primary School, where both my children were educated.

My aim has also been to improve and enhance Swansea’s cycling network and make cycling a more attractive and practical mode of transport. I also believe in the urgent need to improve the city’s public transport service.

As a socialist, I am a strong believer in local government’s ability to provide services for the benefit of everyone, free from the profit motive. I am proud to have been part of an administration which has fought to protect jobs and services in what are very difficult times.
