Oliver James

Councillor

Electoral Ward: Cockett

Cllr.Oliver.James@swansea.gov.uk

01792 636 923

I am a Swansea boy through and through having lived here, studied here and worked here my whole life. I am a local school governor and a proud community activist. My partner and I are raising our six month old daughter here, in Cockett.

I am passionate about a few things: family, community and politics. I believe that good politics can have a great benefit for local people, so I am passionate about achieving results for people in Swansea.

I want you to trust me with your vote so that I can work hard on your behalf to improve our local assets. The things that can make a difference in everyone’s lives. From transport to social services, from schools to parks, from roads to community centres.

I am open and honest, approachable and hard working. Residents will have no problem coming to me to raise local issues and will get results. I will fight for local issues that mean the most to our community and will ensure that we have a voice in Swansea Council.

I was elected as a councillor in May 2017
