I was elected as the Councillor for Upper Loughor on the City and county of Swansea in 2012 and also serve as a Councillor on Llwchwr Town Council, where I was elected Mayor 2015-16.

In addition, I serve on the Governing Body of Ysgol Gymraeg Pontybrenin and Ysgol Gyfun Gwyr. I am a member and Deacon at Penuel Chapel, Loughor.

Since becoming a Councillor in 2012 I have held monthly surgeries at the Welfare Hall.

During the past four years I have worked to secure road safety improvements, better public lighting, and remedial work to the Loughor Foreshore along with other issues raised by individual residents.

In addition, I have held public meetings on local ward issues including major planning applications and the LDP. I am married to Ann who is originally from Bryn, Llanelli and our son Alun is a student at Swansea University.
