Susan-Rodaway

Susan Rodaway

Prospective Candidate

Electoral Ward: Pennard

I am currently in my first term as a Councillor, covering the last four years. For more than 30 years, I have been a Union Representative at 3M in Gorseinon. I saw becoming a Councillor as a natural progression to that. I have spent most of my adult life representing people in the workplace, and becoming a Councillor has allowed me to represent people in the Community.

My aim is to improve matters in the Penclawdd Ward for individuals where I can, but also for the Community as a whole. I am a 58 married with two grown up children. I was born and raised in Penclawdd, my wife is from Llanmorlais. I am one of eight children, seven of us, plus my mother still live in Penclawdd. I have various interests, rugby, having played and been involved in Penclawdd rugby for many years. I also enjoy gardening, and travelling.
