I was elected to represent the Morriston Ward in the 2012 elections.

I have worked in the private and voluntary sector and in the civil service for more than 30 years in various roles.

My particular interest is working with women, who face educational and employment barriers, in a bid to raise their self-esteem.

I serve on several committees and outside bodies.

I am a school governor for Morriston Primary School and Trallwn Primary School.

I married with two sons and five grandchildren.
