Swansea Council’s Labour-led administration have been celebrating the achievements of GCSE, A-Level and BTEC students across the city whose results are way above the national Wales average.
And Jennifer Raynor, Swansea Councils’s cabinet member for education, has put on record her delight at results.
“Education is the top priority of the Labour Council,” she said.
“We have invested heavily and we will continue to do so. We have some excellent schools with brilliant leadership and it is showing in the results.”
