My Pledges -
Working with residents: I will work with residents to jointly shape and deliver, including the skatepark.
Greener, cleaner Mayals: I will continue working with local organisations and stakeholders to reduce plastic waste and keep our community clean.
Tackling social isolation: I will continue to organise and volunteer at events which support isolated individuals and bring people together.
Supporting local businesses: I will ensure that Swansea council invests in promoting a network of local businesses, focussing on job creation and a variety of career choices for young people.
A “Well-being” approach for all Mayals Residents: I will bring together agencies which provide experiences for residents to improve their physical and mental health. It helps all of us enjoy our community.
A bit about me …
The skatepark is a great community achievement. A safe space for the whole family - experienced skaters, school children, wheelchair riders. Grandparents telling us to give them somewhere to go and something to do, kept us going for 5 years. What a huge asset for Mayals.
With your support on May the 5th I will work hard for everyone in Mayals, and to deliver the local priorities of our community
