A bit about me …

I was born and raised in llanyrnewydd, before moving to Crofty, where my parents still live today, I have lived in Bethel lane in the heart of Penclawdd for the last seventeen years. I have been married for the last twenty seven years and have two grown up sons, I Currently work for NHS Wales in Singleton hospital estates department, having worked for Ford motor company for twenty five years. I have been a member of Penclawdd rugby club since 1978 and am currently the clubs chairman, I am also a member of Llanrhidian Higher community council. Last summer I formed the Estuary litter picking group to help combat the huge amount of litter being generated by the many visitors to our area. Alongside the fantastic volunteers who worked tirelessly all summer we collected sixty five large sacks of rubbish from across the ward. I am genuinely passionate about our community and its unique beauty and history, and it would be a huge privilege for me to represent our area on Swansea city council.
